Research

Optical Astronomical Instrumentation

• Developing the optical instrument complex Laguna for the University of Tokyo Atacama Observatory (TAO) 6.5 m telescope.

Optical Time-Domain Astronomy

• Conducting time-domain astronomical observations using SPAD and CMOS image sensors.
• Performing high-time-resolution observations of transient phenomena such as FRBs, pulsars, and stellar flares.
